I love to beautify my surroundings while improving functionality at the same time. From graphic arts to interior and fashion, I love design. I have worked with electronic media, as well as with paint, graphite, wood and tile. I enjoy figuring out solutions to problems and I love the feeling of pride in a job well done.

At a very young age I knew I wanted to be an artist. I found a memory book from my childhood and "artist" was in the "what I want to be when I grow up" section every year. Of course there were many other career aspirations throughout my life, but artist was always in the mix. I remember an art project in 1st grade where we were tasked to create a life sized self portrait. I was wearing my favorite supergirl teeshirt and I didn't finish my assignment by the end of the first day so I convinced my parents to let me wear the same outfit the next day to get the details exactly right. At seven years old I cared about the quality of my work and I proudly posses that attribute to this day.

I am currently working as a Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist at Sybaritic/Wellness USA, a B2B wellness company in Bloomington, MN. I am fortunate to have been exposed to many projects and experiences with this position. I work in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro daily and I've also worked with Audacity, WordPress and many other programs in my time there as well.

My responsibilities involve producing concepts and creating graphics in print, digital and interactive materials including video and animation graphics. I create and refine digital products, produce and design multimedia content, and develop graphics, layouts and digital materials ensuring consistency in branding, logo management and graphic design.

Prior to my current position I worked many years at a financial printer as a proofreader and desktop publisher. I was responsible for typesetting and preparing highly stylized documents for print and online HTML filing. My career at Merrill Corporation embedded in me some highly critical skills of accuracy, consistency and urgency.

I earned an AAS in Advertising Design at Sanford-Brown College, an AAS and an AS in Graphic Design and Visualization from Saint Paul College and a BFA in Individualized Studies with emphasis in Graphic Design by at Metropolitan State University.
